The Story Behind the Piece
Chrysanthemums are an enduring symbol of longevity, nobility, and rejuvenation in Japanese culture. This vintage silk fabric, carefully sourced by Risa, was once part of a traditional kimono and has been reimagined into a contemporary pouch that honours its cultural roots. Each piece is individually cut, sewn, and finished by hand in my London studio, making every pouch unique.
