The jacket features a Silver Purple Cherry Blossom kimono silk panel, inspired by the delicate beauty of sakura. Symbolising renewal, fleeting beauty, and grace, the cherry blossom motif brings a soft elegance to the structured denim base. The vintage silk is stitched onto both the front and back panels, creating a striking contrast between fluid textile and classic denim.

The base denim comes from a standard ready-to-wear jacket, personally thrifted by Risa at a London store, and then carefully hand-finished with the vintage silk panels. This gives each jacket a unique, one-of-a-kind character.
