The jacket features a Golden Pink Butterfly kimono silk panel, where soft pink tones and golden accents create a graceful contrast against the structured denim base. In traditional Japanese textiles, the butterfly motif (蝶々) is an auspicious symbol representing growth, transformation, beauty, and renewal—drawing from its life cycle from caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly—adding both visual elegance and cultural depth to the piece. The vintage silk is stitched onto both the front and back panels, offering a fluid, eye-catching finish.

The base denim comes from a standard ready-to-wear jacket, personally thrifted by Risa at a London store, and then carefully hand-finished with the vintage silk panels.
